The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
